Q. How long do I have to eat this way?
A: This is not a diet. This is a lifestyle. As you begin to eat the right foods in the right amounts you will want to do this for life.
Q. I love to cook; am I going to have to give up cooking to do this?
A: No, as a matter of fact, I have made available a complete line of cookbooks to help you make the right choices. The recipes are easy and diet typed for each individual.
Q. Why do I get hungry every 2 to 3 hours and feel I need a snack to get me through the day?
A: If you are eating the proper percentages of protein, fats, and carbohydrates in the proper amounts you should be able to last until your next meal. Sometimes if you have been exercising or have done strenuous work a snack is necessary and warranted.
Q. I don’t want to give up my comfort (junk) foods, do I have to?
A: You would not put diesel fuel in your gasoline driven car. Eating the wrong type of food is akin to that. Once you start eating balanced you will not want to eat foods that don’t work in your body.
Q. I don’t have enough time to think about what I am going to eat, how can I apply this?
A: In the beginning, change can be hard. But once you adapt your new foods it will become easier. Remember: Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail. I make all of my meals on Sunday for all week. At the end of the day I open my refrigerator to multiple meals already prepared and ready for me to eat.
Q. I have diabetes; can I still do your program?
A: Yes this is a lifestyle program which allows anyone to become healthier. Type II Diabetes has increased 700% in the last 50 years. It is not a genetic disease; it is a disease of improper diet, not enough exercise, inadequate sleep, and too much stress. Finding out what food works for you.
Q. I take medications; can I still do your program?
A: Of course anyone will do well learning what foods are best for their body. Generally, when you eat right for your type you can often lower or even get off some of the medications. It is important to work with your Doctor when starting any program.
Q. What will my doctor say?
A: Most if not all are very supportive of any program to create a healthy body. It is important to notify your Doctor of any program you start so that we can work together as a team in creating health for you.
